As the JISC national datacentre at the University of Edinburgh EDINA is leading engagement with INSPIRE and the UK Location Programme on behalf of UK universities and colleges. It is also working in partnership with Scottish Government and involved in EU programmes.

Land & Property Services (LPS) is the Northern Ireland Agency responsible for mapping, land registration, rating and valuation. LPS leads the GI Strategy for Northern Ireland, which includes INSPIRE implementation and they provide the most comprehensive and authoritative address database in Northern Ireland. LPS are responsible for mapping and the collection and managing of spatial data and the dissemination of this for use in the public and private sectors.
