Ephemera includes tickets of various types to all Society events (lectures, dinners etc.), seating plans for dinners, Society prospectus, standard letters, application forms, extracts from the constitution, proposals for the second Scottish Antarctic Expedition, notices and posters for meetings.

Some material is glued into scrap books, and as some scrap books are disintegrating, loose material has been boxed.

The Livingstone Club was established in 1926 with a view to showing hospitality to guests of the RSGS and to providing means of social intercourse for its members. Livingston Club membership was restricted to those who were, or had been members of RSGS Council.
