Panagtiotis Katsigiannis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1987. He graduated from National Tainan First Senior High School in Taiwan before moving back to Greece for university education. He holds a bachelor degree in forestry and environmental sciences awarded by the Faculty of Forestry and Natural Environment of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He pursued a MSc in GIS at the University of Edinburgh during the academic year 2013-2014.
