Large erratic boulder near Tongue, Sutherland
This example of a fragment of rock carried by a glacier or ice sheet some distance from the outcrop from which it was derived was photographed near Tongue by Patrick Bailey in July 1971. The boulder has been split by freeze-thaw action.
