Our collections

Welcome to the gateway to the RSGS collections. The RSGS has been acquiring materials since its foundation in 1884, particularly with reference to Scotland and to those parts of the world with which Scots have been associated. The collections are ever increasing mainly through generous gifts and donations. We provide a number of ways to access them through this website; please follow the links below.

If you have further queries regarding the collections please contact us at collections@rsgs.org, please see details of arrangements for access and enquiries.

Search

Search the collections using our custom designed database. This facility allows you to search for items by geographical location, title, author, publisher, date etc. More items are being listed daily, so please visit again.
