Mrs. Hilda Eileen Beech Nee Hutchinson (1910-1997) was a devoted and passionate geography and French scholar who devoted her life to travel and to teaching university scholarship level at various high schools including the Wellington Grammar School for Boys and the Wellington Girls High School where she was head of Geography. She was also a member of various groups including the British Ship Adoption Society.
Her pamphlets are primarily of Europe and the Near East. Postcards and the slides are of various areas around the world. The black and white photographs are of a Near or Middle Eastern country although exact location is unknown. |
