Home - Mark Naylor

This site is aimed at presenting some of my PhD research into orogenesis, the growth of mountain belts. I developed a Discrete Element Model to investigate the feedbacks between erosion and tectonic forcing. The animation presented in my thesis are catalogued here also.

I've also put some information about my personal interests and recent photos.

The site is mainly formated using css stylesheets and a bit of JavaScript to interactively manage the animations and browser compatability. It is designed to be functional and easy to navigate.

The site is still being populated, but there is already a lot of useful information and animations.
