FieldInformation
Project DescriptionCO2 separation from LaBarge gas fields - CO2 makes up 65% of gas field content. Capture facility extended in 2010 to increase capture from 4Mt to 6-7 Mt CO2/yr. Captured CO2 sold for EOR operations. Seperate project at site has successfully tested Controlled Freeze Zone, proprietry separation technology. A new expansion project is projected to increase capture capacity by an extra 1MtCO2/yr. Currently in the design and permitting phase, FID is expected in 2022 and could be operational by 2025.
