| Project Description | Pilot plant at E.On's Wilhelmshaven power station using slip-stream (3.5MW eqivalent) to demonstrate Fluor's Econamine FG+ scrubbing technology. First trial of this system on a coal-burning station. Some results reported at GHGT-12, Oct 2014, implying testing ongoing into 2015. Following completion of the pilot project, the site was reportedly turned into a test facility, and was subject to periodic shutdowns. It is currently (in 2021) unclear if the site is still used as a test facility. |
