How to become a member of SAGES+

Membership criteria and application process

Research & Academic Staff

Criteria

1) You must be employed by a SAGES+ partner institute.

2) Your area of research should be relevant to one or more SAGES+ Themes. These links may be indirect, the important point is that your area of research falls within the broad remit of SAGES+ (Geoscience & Society).

Application process

Please send a short CV, e.g. your most recent two page RCUK-type CV. In an accompanying note, please nominate the Theme(s) you wish to primarily associate with, and provide a short paragraph outlining your contribution to SAGES+. In that paragraph please consider and identify possible SAGES+ collaborations you might wish to pursue.

Research & Academic Staff applications are approved by the SAGES+ Director.

PhD STUDENTS

Criteria

1) You must be a member of a SAGES+ partner institute.

2) Your area of research must be linked to a SAGES+ Theme.

3) A co-supervisor from a different SAGES+ institution must be named within 12 months of original membership date.

4) Your second supervisor must be from a different SAGES+ partner institute to your own.

Application process

Please complete a SAGES+ Post Graduate application form.

Include a short (two pages maximum) CV.
