An interdisciplinary group, we research the relationships between people, the environment and technology and are interested in reaching beyond individual disciplines to further our understanding of the multiple origins and dynamics of environmental and social problems.
This group is made up of ecologists, human geographers, GIS specialists, political scientists, remote sensing scientists and anthropologists.
In a microcosm, we represent the disciplinary breadth of the School of GeoSciences and aim to maximise the opportunities that this gives us, to conduct innovative and high-impact research.
