Desiccation Cracks

Do not miss this boulder. It displays splendid desiccation cracks produced by drying out of a layer of mud. The cracks were later filled ... with what?

The boulder is located near high water mark above a large rounded slab of sandstone, just around the corner of the first cliff at the end of Pease Sands.
