White Sandstone
Locality 6: After the deposition of the Cementstone Group sediments and lava flows, earth movements produced gentle folding of the strata. In Holyrood Park the strata are seen tilted at about 15° to the east-north-east. Beneath the sill the sandstones are seen to be nearly pure white.
