Ripple Marks
Locality 12: Wave or current motion often produces ripples in the surface of sedimentary rocks. Symmetric ripples are produced by oscillatory currents and asymmetric ripples by flowing currents. The ripples in Camstone Quarry indicate gentle oscillatory motion.
