The Cryosphere Programme aims to understand the principle processes controlling how glaciers and ice sheets and to investigate how they inter-link with other parts of the global system. We study contemporary systems and past ice sheets using a variety of field study, remote sensing and modelling techniques. We have projects based in Greenland, Antarctica, Patagonia, Iceland, FennoScandanavia, and the Alps.
Projects
- Surface melt in Greenland
