Contemporary Climate Group MeetingsWelcome to the Contemporary Climate group webpages. The group aims to provide an informal forum in which members can share aspects of their research with people outside of their immediate research group. Meetings are held on alternate mondays throughout the term at 11.30am in the Crew Building, room 304. Please see the calendar below for the schedule or click here for more details. Confirmed meeting topics for this term so far include: satellite infrared remote sounding data in contemporary climate; heat waves and temperature extremes; the UK Climate Impacts Programme; and multispectral lidar measurements. Anyone wishing to present at a future meeting, whether to practice a conference talk, discuss a recent paper, or to set up a discussion on a particular topic, is more than welcome.
