Human Geography
PhD study in Human Geography relates to one of our themes: relations and identities; knowledges, practices and policies; development and power. We welcome applicants who have an undergraduate degree in a social science subject to either apply for one of our specialised PhD projects or submit a project of their own.
Students will enjoy not only the obvious benefits of being part of an internationally recognised Human Geography Research Group, but also meaningful associations to relevant social scientists in other parts of the University such as the Graduate School of Social & Political Studies.
