To get there by car, exit the Edinburgh City By-Pass at Lothianburn junction, signposted A702/Penicuik. You can also exit at the Straiton junction signposted A701/Penicuik. Follow the A701 direction to Peebles. On reaching the A701/A6094/A703 intersection, take the A703 to Peebles. On reaching Eddleston Village take the first right signposted Lyne via Meldons. Follow this road for approx. 200 metres, the Barony Castle entrance is on your right.
