I graduated from the University of Hull, in 2009 receiving a 2.1 BSc (Hons) in Geography. While at Hull
University, I developed an interest in understanding the relationship between space and choice, in terms
of food consumption. In the academic year of 2009/2010 I attended University College London (UCL) where
I completed an MSc in Geographical Information Science (GIS). During my time at UCL I completed a
dissertation looking at the feasibility of a larger project which would analyse and compare the food
networks of students in different universities, a project which was supervised by Dr Kate Jones from the
University of Portsmouth. Details of which can be found on the previous research page.
I am currently looking at various methods used when calculating accessibility to varies food services and their relative accuracy in varies contexts under the supervision of
Dr Jamie Pearce,
Dr Niamh Shortt and
Dr Elizabeth Richardson.
