Hill Walking

Since spending a year working and travelling around New Zealand I have become an avid hill walker. After returning from NZ and the Southern Alps I have continued as much as possible, which was difficult while being at university in SE England. Having now moved to Scotlands capital I am able to spend much more time in the hills

Badminton

I am a keen badminton player. At my previous university I played regurly for the team and captained the mens 2nd team. I continue to play often at Edinburgh university and was the runner-up in the clubs mens doubles competion this year.

Squash

In the School of GeoSciences squash is the sport played by the large number of both students and lectures, so I naturally had to join in. There is a Squash Ladder which runs thoughout the year

Rock Climbing

In February 2005 I got introduced to climbing at an indoor wall in Edinburgh and have been hooked ever since. I climb regually twice a week indoors and have also towards the end of summer 2005 started to learn to lead outdoor climbs.
