I am currently in the second year of my PhD, which has been funded by the University of Edinburgh, the British Geological Survey (BGS) and EDEN. Working with Prof John Farmer, Dr Bryne Ngwenya, Dr Mark Cave and Fiona Fordyce, my project is looking into methods of assessing heavy metal bioavailability/bioaccessibility in urban soils.
