PhD student, Institute of Atmospheric and Environmental Science

Hello and welcome to my home page.

I am a part-time PhD student, working on the effects disturbance management in a pinewood-heathland ecosystem managed for nature conservation. My project uses experimental work to explore the role of ecological disturbance - caused by things like fire and large herbivores - from both applied and theoretical perspectives.

My PhD studies are sponsored by the RSPB, a UK conservation NGO. My supervisors are Colin Legg of Edinburgh University, and Ron Summers, Jerry Wilson, and Neil Cowie of RSPB.

Please use the links at left to find out more about my own and related research, and the link at the bottom of this page if you wish to get in touch.
