PhD research – The tectonic and sedimentary evolution of a Neogene Transtensional graben in Southern Turkey.
- 15 weeks fieldwork in southern Turkey
- Analytical skills include use of the SEM, XRD techniques and strontium isotope chemistry.

Major Projects - 4th year independent research project
- Palaeocurrent directions in the Ainsa turbidite system, Pyrenees.
- 2 weeks independent fieldwork in Spain
- On Graduation I was included on the Dean’s list for academic excellence.
- In the 3rd year I was awarded a session prize for work of good honours standard.
- In the 2nd year I was awarded the Chubb prize for work of good honours standard by a first or second year student.
