Models, Programs and Tools

All code is written in fortran 90. Feel free to download, distribute and use the software on this page. If the programs have been of any use to you in your teaching or research I kindly request that you reference me as the author of the software.

Carbon Models

For SPA, ACM and DALEC, see Mat William's home page.

DALEC_CW - My version of Mat's DALEC Carbon-Water model (offline - i.e. no assimilation). I also have a version written in R, but this has not been extensively tested. Please contact me if you have any interest in this version.

Geostatistical Interpolation and Simulation

Kriging - 2D Geostatistics via Ordinary Kriging.

ED_ST_Geostats - Spatio-temporal interpolation and simulation software. Includes:

  • IDW - 2D interpolation of data via inverse distance weighting. Produces a stack of grids with no temporal interaction.
  • Geostats - Space-Time geostatistics utilizing the Produce-Sum Covariance model.
  • Gaussim - Space-Time simulation via Sequential Gaussian Simulation, utilizing the Product-Sum Covariance model.
  • Edinburgh Space-Time Geostatistics Users Guide

ED_ST_Geostatistics Visualisation Tool - Ubuntu Linux only (requires pgplot library). Tool to map, analyse and graph output from the Geostats program. You can view screenshots here.

Tools

SANN - Model fitting via Simulated Annealing, Metropolis Hastings Algorithm or the Gibbs sampler. Supplied with DALEC C/W model as an example.
