25th & 26th September 2006, Room 304, Crew Building, The King's Buildings.

Jointly organised by Biomathematics & Statistics Scotland (www.bioss.ac.uk) and the School of GeoSciences (www.geos.ed.ac.uk) at the University of Edinburgh, the workshop will focus on statistical approaches to handling uncertainties for climate and climate impacts assessment.

Directions: A taxi is recommended if arriving at the airport, and it is also the easiest way to get there from the train station. Otherwise take an airport bus to train station then walk across to art galleries (1 block away; see Edinburgh map) and get number 42 Lothian bus (every 10-15 minutes) to the King's Buildings stop on Mayfield Road. Enter via gate 1, and the Crew building is marked number 5 on the King's Buildings map. Walk in main entrance up one flight of stairs turn right for seminar room 304.
