Calgary study leave
I spent September-December 2005 on sabbatical at the University of Calgary, Canada, at the Department of Geoscience and the Alberta Ingenuity Centre for Water Research (now The Alberta Water Research Institute) funded by a Royal Society international outgoing short visit award. I established contacts in my research interests of diffuse pollution, hydrocehmistry and urban stormwater management with Cathy Ryan, Masaki Hayashi, Caterina Valeo, Angus Chu, and Bernie Amell (Riparia).
