Research

In the modern interdisciplinary geosciences, research activities are organised on a School-wide basis, so staff housed in the Grant Institute of Earth Science contribute to one or more of the following research groupings:

• Earth Subsurface Geoscience
• Global Environmental Change
• Edinburgh Earth Observatory

Staff in the Institute of Earth Science are also involved in numerous inter-organisation collaborative projects. There is much more information in the School research pages.
