The Grant Institute: Facilities

The Grant Institute is extremely well equipped to conduct original research in Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Geoscience. For example, there are two Ion Microprobes, two Electron Microprobes, a Scanning Electron Microscope, an X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer, an X-Ray Diffraction Spectrometer, a Stable Isotope Mass Spectrometer, Gas and Liquid Chromatographs, Carbon-Nitrogen Aanalyser, and well-found wet-chemical, rock preparation, experimental and computing laboratories.
