The Facility is located in rooms 112/113 at the Grant Institute (Earth Sciences), University of Edinburgh, Kings Buildings, West Mains Road, Edinburgh EH9 3JW.

Travelling by car: From the city bypass (A720) take the Straiton exit and head towards the city centre along the A701. Continue along the A701 until you reach the junction at the foot of Liberton Brae. Take the left fork into Mayfield Road and the Kings Buildings campus will be on the left as you go up the hill. Continue to the traffic lights at the top of the hill and turn left into West Mains Road. See also map(s) of the Edinburgh area.

The Grant Institute (Earth Sciences) is reached via Gate no.2 on West Mains Road and is then the first building on the left as you enter the campus.

Travelling by bus: From the city centre the no.42 bus is best for travelling to the Kings Buildings campus. For further details and timetable infomation contact Lothian Buses (0131 555 6363).
