C/H/N Analysis
Overview of the C/H/N Analyser
The Grant Institute of Earth Sciences has a Carlo Erba NA 2500 Elemental Analyser that is used for the measurement of total elemental carbon and nitrogen in a variety of solid sample matrices. The instrument is fitted with an AS128 autosampler enabling it to handle samples up to 1 cm in diameter. Instrument control is via Eager 300 software.
A similar service is provided in the Institute of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences where a Carlo Erba 1106 CHN Analyser is housed.
