We are developing a conceptual framework to analyse the relationships between ecosystem services and poverty alleviation. Within a political economy context, we focus on policy approaches.

More specifically, we are interested in understanding how forest ecosystems can be managed so that poor people and communities can harness ecosystem services to enhance their well-being.

Overall, we take a Social-Ecological Systems perspective.
