Griffin ClimatologyThe climate of the Griffin research site is important because of the role it plays in controlling exchanges of carbon and energy. The relationship of these climate factors is examined more closely in the pages describing carbon and energy exchanges. On this page we look only at the characteristics of the climate at Griffin. The more important variables are presented below and include Radiation, Temperature, Humidity, Precipitation, Wind speed and direction, and Carbon dioxide
