The conference marks the end of a five year research project in Mozambique, led by the University of Edinburgh.
Delegates are requested NOT to print this document as it will be provided on arrival at the conference.

The primary outcome of the workshop will be the finalisation of a major publication describing the process for implementing, managing and sustaining major carbon sequestration projects in tropical developing countries. This document will relate specifically to the dry tropical forests of Africa, however many of the themes will be transferable to other areas.
